Weeds to low maintenance
We were contacted by a local property landlord Paul through our contractual work with Nottingham estate agents. Paul wasn't too familiar with the process of creating a low maintenance lawn. With our guidance, we explained the process step via step as to what works would be carried out, on a strict deadline to create an enjoyable low maintenance garden / outdoor space for a family to move into.
Job Entailed:
- Reinstallation/repair of damaged fencing.
- Taking up the existing lawn.
- Installation of heavy duty weed membrane.
- Installation of edging stones.
- Delivering 3,000kg of 20mm decorative aggregate to site.
- Removal of approx 2,000kg of soil, green waste and fencing / trellis.
- Painting the fences to improve aesthetics.
LARGE REDUCTION OF HEDGE
Our team was recently working on a garden in Mapperley when we were approached to provide a quotation for a hedge reduction. Upon inspection, it was evident that the previous gardener had neglectfully allowed the hedges to become overgrown. With the client's approval, we carefully removed approximately 4 feet of width and 3 feet of height from the unusually long 100-foot hedge. Not only did this improve the aesthetic of the garden, but it also provided our clients with a significant amount of extra space. As a bonus for the client, we were able to remove 2 builders sacks worth of garden waste. This experience led to a close friendship with the clients, and we now regularly maintain their lawn and hedges.
