This neglected rear garden was transformed into a clean, practical and low-maintenance outdoor space. We removed overgrown vegetation and waste, repaired damaged fencing, prepared the ground, installed a heavy-duty weed membrane, laid decorative gravel to a depth of approximately 50mm and installed scalloped edging stones set in concrete to keep the gravel neatly contained.
The finished result is a tidy, durable garden that requires very little ongoing maintenance while remaining attractive and functional throughout the year.

This project involved transforming an overgrown and inaccessible entrance by removing years of established ivy and replacing a failed timber gate with a new, pressure-treated timber gate and frame.
The original gate had become completely engulfed by ivy, concealing the extent of the damage and making access difficult. Once the vegetation was carefully removed, it became clear that the existing gate had significantly deteriorated and was beyond economical repair.
Following the clearance, the old gate was removed and a new pressure-treated timber gate and frame were built and installed to provide a secure, durable and attractive replacement. The surrounding area was cleared of vegetation and debris, leaving the entrance clean, accessible and ready for continued use.
By combining vegetation clearance with a quality timber installation, the property benefited from both improved security and a far more welcoming appearance.
